438 Terminal Avenue

Nicknamed ‘containers’, 438 Terminal was designed to be an enduring landmark in a former industrial part of the city that is evolving into a commercial and residential quarter. The buildings signature colour palette was inspired by the freight containers of the adjacent railway yard. Bold blue and orange aluminum cladding is married with Columbia Glazing’s panelized curtain wall, skylights, and sunshades create an eye-catching point of reference on Terminal Avenue. In April 2013, Columbia College opened the doors on its brand new campus. The total area of glass on this project is 30,000 sq ft.
